I have tutored students for SAT and ACT for the past 5 years. My average student increase their scores by approximately 25% - 35%. There are the rare students that increase by more, but my average students starts in the low to mid 20's and reaches the low 30's. I ran the SAT Math program after school for the past two years. Our students as a whole have increased their SAT math section by 124%. I have tutored a number of adults in the TEAS. TEAS is 9th grade algebra which I already teach now. I am well verse in teaching fractions, proportions, and decimals which appear a lot on the test. The test also consists of understanding how to understand inequalities and absolute value questions, which I have expertise in teaching. There is no calculator allowed on the test and with my methods I can teach anyone how to figure out simple calculations without using the calculator.
